Some maxi-dressing

Long dresses, who doesn't love them? They're very handy (even on a hot summer day!) but also elegant if you wear it right. The more fashionable term for this piece of clothing is a 'maxi-dress' and I found mine at Zara. I thought it wasn't really my cup of tea, although I loved this trend from the beginning... Until I noticed this one: I just adore the simplicity of it.
In Rome, it also seemed to be the perfect outfit to visit some holy places like the Vatican. Do you guys think that I can pull this off?

I fell in love with this piece of clothing from the moment I noticed it. This jumpsuit belongs to the summer collection 2013 of Maje, the French brand by Judith Milgrom. Quite expensive, but I was able to buy it with a reduction of 50 percent: lucky me! I've always been a fan of jumpsuits, but this one is really special I think because of the back. The color combination is just perfect, as the lace details don't ask for more!

Trevi by night

Hi dear fashion-lovers! I'm back after a few days of holiday with lots of new material. Last week, I was visiting Rome (for the first time!!!) and it was absolutely fantastic! Such a vibrating city with lots of inspiring people. Its reputation as one of the top fashion cities in the world is absolutely well deserved... It also seemed to be the perfect setting for some awesome outfit-pictures. This was the outfit that I was wearing on our first night. We ended the day with a visit to the Trevi-fontain: breath-taking by night!

And do you guys remember my first post with all the pictures from Brussels taken by my friend Julie? She also stood behind the camera for all these Rome-pics. So don't forget to check http://julievscamera.wordpress.com!

Ok, I have to admit something: I'm really addicted to Instagram. It's just amazing how you can make your picture a thousand times more cooler just by putting an effect on it (<3 mayfair, valencia, lo-fi). Instagram for me, is an app where I can put my pictures on, but for a smaller amount of people, because they're quite personal. On Facebook you have all your friends, but also a lot of people where you don't want to share this kind of material with. And that's why I love Instagram so much! Are you guys also 'instaddicted'?

Here you can find a compilation of some of my pic's: from food and fashion, to precious moments, over friends and family... Enjoy!

My friends know that I love wearing blazers, in all colors and shapes. A blazer can make your outfit: you can wear it casual, but also when you have to go to some place festive. This yellow one is new. I liked the fact that this model is a bit longer than the rest of my blazercollection :). And indeed, yellow is not such an easy color to combine, but in the summer I think it's definitely possible!!!
