Fluffy shorts

Looking at this awful drizzly weather - autumn really seems to have arrived - it is time to go back a while and talk about a sunny and happy outfit that I found in my summer archive. I didn't yet have the time to share this super cute pair of shorts with you because I had such a busy summer. But now is the time - read: before it gets too cold and it is not done to talk about bare legs anymore - I really really really wanted to show this particular piece of my closet that I adore so much! People who know me personally are themselves well aware that I'm a sucker for shorts… I have loads of them, so for me each and every time it is about finding that one pair that really blows my mind. And this exemplar from Sandro is definitely such a pair. When I entered the shop in London it immediately caught my eye and I - and of course it - was sold in a sec! I love the color that is so simple and is perfectly balanced with the fluffy part. It is eccentric but not too eccentric. It is an eye-catcher but not too much of an eye-catcher. It is fluffy but not "so fluffy I'm gonna die" ;).

What do you guys think?

Acne meets Sandro

Yay, I finally found the light grey Acne scarf that I wanted for such a long time!!! And I was so lucky: it was the last one left in the Acne shop in London. Their 100 percent wool scarfs are maybe a bit expensive, but they are to die for and worth every penny ;) On the pictures you see that I combined three colors in my outfit: black, grey and burgundy/red, all colors to be found back in my Sandro sweater. Never forget: sometimes you can just make an outfit work by pure simplicity

South Bank/Bankside (part 1)

Do you know the feeling that when you end a visit in London and you're sitting on the train back home looking outside the window, realizing you didn't see the Big Ben? Well, I've been having that feeling a couple of times the past few years, and this time I was going to do something about that! Because the Big Ben is such a big touristic thing, I almost always avoid the Westminster area, but still I have to admit that I like seeing it once in a while (checking if it is still there ;p). So on day one of the trip, the Big Ben was on top of the menu! When walking from the Bankside towards South Bank, you get a beautiful view of this famous clock located in the Palace of Westminster, with alongside the London Eye, also one of the most visited attractions in the world. I love strolling alongside the Thames and watching London from different angles: so stunning!

Skirts

Skirts. I normally don't wear them a lot because I'm more a shorts kind of person. It's not because we are women, that we're not allowed to wear shorts, right?! But I have to admit, it's been a while now that I've been searching some special skirts. And this one from Sandro really fits my requirements. It's some kind of Roman inspired skirt, made of an exquisite leather, and completed with some ropes. In my opinion, the skirt is most to his right when it's worn just above the hips. Put a nice top in it, and it immediately turns into something chic. I finished everything with a nice pair of earrings, bought at my friends' web shop, and a colorful handbag to perk the whole thing up. Approved or not? And you guys, do you prefer skirts, or shorts?

Boy oh boy

Have you ever heard of the brand Boy London? It's quite underground so not very well-known, but since a few years it's on a revival supported by all kinds of celebrities (Rihanna, Rita Ora, Cara Delevingne, Wiz Khalifa...)! You can definitely say that the brand is quite dark, but totally not in a bad way! Coincidence that I bought my sweater at Camden Town?! Not at all, as this is a melting pot of  all kinds of extraordinary people (so amazing!).

This time I combined it with my black printed pants, biker boots and my burgundy coat to soften all the blackness. You like?

That coat

The perfect winter coat... the search for every woman (and man?!). In cold freezy times it's the kind of garment where you're seen in most of the time, so it's quite important that you buy a good one. And certainly one that you're not already sick of the next month!

This time I wanted my coat to be long. Really long... The kind of coat that falls below your knee... But I didn't found what I wanted. But then I fell in love with this beauty at Sandro. It's a big investment, I know, but totally worth it! We're already good buddies

What kind of 'body warmers' are you guys wearing?

Dotted pants

For me (and my wallet), Zara is one of the greatest inventions in the world. By copying the high-fashion brands, they make it possible for us to buy clothes that resemble the 'real' creations. Almost every iconic piece of clothing has its look-alike at Zara. So when I saw this pants, I immediately recognized the 'dotted jeans' from Marc Jacobs in it. I'm so fond of my newest possession!

Color on a rainy day

Let's bring some color into this rainy day! This outfit is from a few days ago, when the sun was still shining high up in the sky :) I'm totally in love with this blazer from Zara. Initially, I was not sure if it was a smart buy because it's quite a special one... But if you combine it with some neutral pieces, you can definitely call this a bullseye! Or do you guys think differently?
