Whistles

Today I just want to share an image of my new jeans shirt. I bought it on my last visit to Sheffield at the John Lewis store. I loved this shop because it is some kind of concept store where they sell all kinds of stuff: clothes, food, home decoration, electronic devices, accessories, beauty products… 

I would call Whistles a typical Astrid-brand: it stands for simplicity, has standard and straight cuts and uses durable materials. On top of that it has this kind of Scandinavian touch that I like. And I honestly have to admit (and I'm sure every woman can agree with me on this): a jeans shirt like this is perfect for a day when you just don't know what to wear! 

Jeans on jeans on jeans (part 2)

Jeans must be one of my favorite fabrics. I can't remember the time where I just didn't have a pair of jeans. It just fits with everything and that must be the main reason why I love it so much. Making an outfit mostly starts with taking a pair of jeans, and from there I go on with creating my #ootd. This same pattern was also what happened this day, where I eventually ended up wearing jeans on jeans. For some people this is just not done, but you guys already now that I'm a fan of this combo. This jeans jacket is one of my best buys of winter 2014-2015. Especially the sheep details make this - can I say - tough looking outfit less harsh.

Color on a rainy day

Let's bring some color into this rainy day! This outfit is from a few days ago, when the sun was still shining high up in the sky :) I'm totally in love with this blazer from Zara. Initially, I was not sure if it was a smart buy because it's quite a special one... But if you combine it with some neutral pieces, you can definitely call this a bullseye! Or do you guys think differently?
